Ryan Rummery



As Head of DAX, Digital and Mobile at Global, Ryan is responsible for ad revenue and commercial operations for Global’s digital, mobile and social products across the company’s portfolio of brands including Capital, Heart, Classic FM, LBC, Radio X and PopBuzz.


Prior to joining Global, Ryan worked at Telegraph Media Group where he was Head of Digital Sales & Trading. For the past three years, Rummery has led sales for DAX, the UK’s first programmatic audio platform.  Global created DAX in 2014 to give advertisers a single point of entry to the digital audio market.  DAX now reaches 15 million listeners and recently introduced a host of new product innovations including listener tracking, geo-targeting, personalised ads and 3D audio.


Ryan also lead sales for Global’s digital publishing business, which has enjoyed significant growth in the past 12 months and now delivers more than 100 million video streams a month.  Global’s brands have a social following of 10.8 million and its newest media brand Popbuzz now reaches two million unique users every

Ryan has a passion for all things digital and a strong track record of delivering commercial success. For the last two years he has held the position of Chairman of the AOP commercial committe where he collaborates with other premium publishers to address industry topics such as ad blocking and viewability.
